and we are surrounded by good.The reason why we don't 'see' much of that good is due to the fact that 'good' is humble. Good does not boast of its deeds. but maybe it should? sometimes...just sometimes...if you look a little closer.... Every year Norbert Eisen at H&R block does my taxes on Austin Street in Forest Hills. Norbert is a Tax Consultant that's pushing probably 85 years of age. His age has not affected his marble blue eyes that are seemingly still as sharp as ever. Every day Norbert's wife at 12:30pm, on the dot, brings him a tuna sandwich with a thermos of hot green tea. She sits at his desk with him, and they split the homemade sandwich. He gets Styrofoam cups from the water cooler so they may both enjoy the hot tea at the same time. Their conversation brought smiles to their faces as though they were flirting on their first date... This is something i look forward to. | |
